Yes. FlowTank is scuba equipment, and you must hold a current scuba certification from a recognised agency (e.g. PADI or SSI Open Water) to use it. You'll confirm this when you order.

No deeper than 3 metres (10 feet), or 2 metres when using the Full Face Snorkelling Mask. The limit doesn't physically stop you going deeper, so it's your responsibility to stay within it. Lung injury can happen from as shallow as 1 metre, so follow the Safety Guidelines on every dive.

Yes. FlowTank products are for adults 18 and over only.

Up to approximately 10 minutes. It runs out faster if you breathe hard, are working hard, are cold, or are deeper. FlowTank is for short, purpose-driven use in shallow water, not extended dives.

Yes. FlowTank is a compact self-contained underwater breathing apparatus, which is what scuba means. It is not a replacement for a full scuba set and is only for short dives within 3 metres.

Breathing compressed air underwater always carries a risk of serious injury or death, even in shallow water. Using FlowTank only as a certified diver, within the depth limits, with a buddy, and following the User Manual reduces that risk.

Three ways: the Flow High Pressure Hand Pump (around 10 to 15 minutes of pumping, in cycles of no more than 5 minutes with rest breaks), the Flow Turbocharger, or the Flow Refill Adapter from a scuba cylinder that's in test. Always fill outdoors in clean air, never above 200 bar, and follow the User Manual.

No. Only clean, dry breathing air. Never oxygen or any other gas.

Have your Flow products inspected by a dive centre or certified cylinder test station at least every 12 months, and pressure-tested at the interval the test station advises.

Yes. When flying, you must completely purge the air from the cylinder and remove the regulator. You'll also need to declare that the cylinder is empty and open, and check your airline allows it. After using any Flow product, wait at least 24 hours before boarding a flight.

A 12-month manufacturer's warranty, in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Misuse, use beyond the depth limits, incorrect filling and modifications aren't covered.
