FAQ's

How long does it take to refill my FlowTank series 5?

Around 10-15 minutes of pumping.

How long does the air last?

Air duration depends on depth, breathing rate, and activity level. On average, FlowTank provides several minutes of usable air when fully pumped up for short underwater tasks in shallow water.

It is intended for quick, purpose-driven use, not extended dives.

Who is FlowTank designed for?

FlowTank is designed for boat owners, divers, and water-based professionals who need a compact air solution for brief underwater tasks.

Common uses include hull cleaning, inspections, anchor checks, underwater maintenance, and having a backup air option readily available.

Is FlowTank scuba-certified?

FlowTank is not a replacement for full scuba equipment and is not classified as a scuba system. It is designed for short, shallow underwater tasks where traditional scuba gear is unnecessary or impractical.

FlowTank is best used by experienced swimmers and divers who understand basic underwater safety practices

How safe is our product?

While our products are intended for shallow water exploration, all water activities carry inherent risks. Following the Safety Guidelines can help reduce these risks and promote a safer experience.

How deep can I go?

The depth limit is set solely to reduce risk to users so it does not physically prevent you from descending further. It is the user’s responsibility to stay within these limits. Even at just 1 meter deep, there are potential risks, so all safety instructions must be followed.

The Flow Tank Series 5 meets US, EU, and other international standards for diving equipment, ensuring they can withstand the demands of depth and high breathing loads. Testing included operating the device at a breathing rate of 62.5 L/min, submerged in water at 6 BAR absolute pressure (equivalent to 50 meters depth). However, use of the Flow Tank Series 5 beyond 3 meters depth is strictly prohibited.

Can I travel with the FlowTank Series 5?

Yes. When flying with the Flow Tank Series 5, you must completely purge the air from the cylinder and remove the regulator. You’ll also need to declare that the cylinder is empty and open. Before use, ensure the cylinder has passed both Visual and Hydrostatic tests. After using any Flow product, wait at least 24 hours before boarding a flight.
